| A comprehensive behavioral management training program has been developed by AGI practitioners to identify and respond to the increasing need for safety and security in our schools. The program is designed to decrease the number of serious behavioral incidents, increase student attendance and success rate, and enhance staff competency in working with students experiencing significant emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Building on concepts of positive mental health, specific prevention and response skills are taught along with organizational models that allow schools to create safe environments for all students and faculty. As all school staff members participate in the training, the traditional role of "disciplinarian" is redefined so that every adult becomes a meaningful and empowered individual in working with students who demonstrate disruptive, inappropriate or dangerous behavior.
