Former United States Secret Service Agent (20 years). Served as the San Jose, California, Resident Agent in Charge for world leaders visiting the West Coast of the United States, including: Presidents of the United States, presidential candidates, Pope John Paul II, Mikhail Gorbachev, and other foreign heads of state. Served in the White House Presidential Protection Division, conducting lead and site security advances for Presidential visits throughout the world, and provided training for new agents assigned White House protective duties. Supervised the investigation and successful prosecution of 75-100 domestic and international criminal cases each year to include complex telemarketing, computer hacking and "high-tech" operations. Managed threat cases which required the coordination of multiple law enforcement agencies. Created and implemented curriculum for Secret Service training, and was assigned duties involving intelligence, fraud and forgery investigations, and banking fraud. Specialist in conducting security surveys for various types of sites, including: buildings, residences, manufacturing plants, stadiums, airports, yacht basins, etc.
