Cold Case Analysis Program™ (CCAP)

The Academy Group, Inc., salutes the innovative efforts of law enforcement in its struggle to bring to justice violent criminals who have successfully avoided detection, apprehension, and prosecution. Our Cold Case Analysis Program™ (CCAP) is designed to assist in that endeavor by making available the unique experience of the pioneering research undertaken by the FBI and the Behavioral Science Unit at the FBI Academy.

CCAP™ practitioners will independently review and analyze the original crime and investigate to determine case solvability through the maximum application of all available resources and knowledge. The CCAP™ process can identify investigative shortcuts and may detect new offender vulnerabilities.

Most cold case reinvestigations benefit from the application of Criminal Investigative Analysis, which includes the development of an offender's criminal profile. AGI practitioners formulated the FBI's profiling and crime analysis techniques and have guided its successful application time and again.
