Retired U.S. Air Force (22 years) Engineering Specialist with expertise in electronics, microwave and computer systems. Over 40 years of government and commercial experience in the telecommunications, computer and security industries, working almost exclusively on classified or secure systems.
Mr. Busch was the Technical Advisor for Security on the DISN (Defense Information System Network) Switched/Bandwidth Manager - CONUS (DS/BMS-C) project. This is a Department of Defense Command and Control system managed by the Defense Information Systems Agency. He was formerly assigned as the Network Security Officer responsible for implementing the Information System Security Program for the DISN network.
Among other assignments, Mr. Busch performed a security assessment for a high-profile corporate client with extensive properties and offices in London, U.K. Tasks included review and recommendations of current equipment, technologies, methods, and procedures. Using proven security risk management techniques, he developed a detailed analysis of the threats and vulnerabilities to all assets, and recommended countermeasures to improve the overall security posture of each.
Mr. Busch is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, certified by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. He is certified by the American Society for Industrial Security as a Certified Protection Professional. He develops and teaches training programs for law enforcement, government agencies, and corporations.
